Southwell

1.20 – #4   Punching Punching
A decent placing 2nd to Bonnie Prince Blue here in his last and previous placing score in grade 5 and 4 makes him a possible for this run. 3rd to Benato The Great here in Southwell, same grade but carrying more weight and drawn in a lesser position, this time drawn better and carries same weight so chance for him to over Benato. Hayley Turner on board, prove to know her way with this 7 year old.

Won @ 8/1

1.50 – #3  So Is She So Is She
Course and distance winner, in form in previous runs at higher grades so current grade more than suit her abilities. Cathy Gannon mount the filly, lead her to break maiden in her last and will lead her to score this time around as well.  Bottom weights will give her extra and drawn to compliment.

2nd @ 6/5

3.20 – #4   Your Gifted Your Gifted
Last 4 runs in form, course and distance winner. Loves the field, weighted to have a go and a chance to land a win. Drawn nicely to engage, and shall prove worthy.

2nd @ 2/1

A terrific day in terms of our daily horse racing tips

Lingfield

12.55 – #1   Orchard Supreme Orchard Supreme
Winning here over distance in his last 25 days ago, all previous runs conducted beautifully setting this veteran runner in form. Same jockey as last three runs and should have a chance of proving this team up, weights 2 lbs lower than last win here. Drawn wide however knows how to handle.

2nd @ 8/1

1.25 – #3   Ivan's A Star Ivan’s A Star
Running to form in his last 6 starts, all placing and wins. Rise in trip will suit, no issue on the weights and drawn fairly low to have advantage over others. Not a Lingfield star but a strong contender nevertheless.

Last

2.55 – #6 Strike Force Strike Force
Good form in current grade, Cathy Gannon on board, and drawn lowest to gain more edge over his rivals. Weights withing reasonable scale and should be involved.

N/R

3.25 – #6  Cat Hunter Cat Hunter
Good effort in previous  grade 4 and 5 starts, now dropped to grade 6 and should find a bit extra to give. Favorable weights not to hold her back, and Lingfield be the place where broke her maidens and only place to land a win.

2nd @ 6/1

Southwell

12.40 – #3 Punching Punching
Struggled over his last here but can be excused for going and running a higher class, last two runs here fairly decent beating Abbondanza by neck when both carrying same weights. Weights for this run not out of the ordinary and with Tom Queally mount the 7 year old who’ve had better runs in higher grades can definitely land this one.

2nd @ 4/1

1.40 – #3 Olympic Dream Olympic Dream
Course and distance winner here in his last, now back to recreate this magnificent run with Billy Cray on board. Drawn nicely and weights don’t go beyond his abilities. His form of late is fairly decent, improved to the point where believed to hold this run intact as well.

2nd @ 9/4

2.10 -#6 Avonrose Avonrose
Winner here in her last over 7f , rise is trip for current run will be of no issue as already proven to handle such distance. Same draw here as last win, weights will not hold back this 4 year old filly as already proven to carry such weights. Have had quite a few good runs in higher grades suggesting she has more to give here, all of her runs in the last five months have resulted in either winning or placing with two exceptions of coming 7th and 5th but with excuses.

3rd @ 13/2

3.40 -#2  Rylee Mooch Rylee Mooch
Placing 2nd in his last two runs and has a good chance of getting involved here as well. Favored on the draw which gives him an edge and with experience of running in races where high number of runners will find this contest to his liking. Level of current weights has  never been carried before however no apparent reason as of why he shouldn’t handle.

Southwell

1.05 – #3  Guto Guto
Course and distance winner with a decent form in his last three runs here, coming 7 at grade 5 and so should be excused for this run. Loves it here as most of his good runs were conducted in this field, drawn to have more on his rivals and will carry weights with no difficulties. Have had quite a few success here at grade 5 in the past, so probably coming here with a bit extra to give in this run to overpower other contenders.

Finished 3rd @ 6/1

2.10 – #3 William Morgan William Morgan
The unlikely contender for this run however course and distance achievements in his last here position him as a high odds pick. Slightly up in weights but nothing which is unmanageable.

Wolverhampton

2.35 – #2   Apache Ridge Apache Ridge
In very good form of late though no wins however should be involved in this run as well. Struggled over his last at Lingfield due to weights this time around will handle. On board is Philip Makin who placed 3rd and 2nd with this 5 year old and will do his very best effort to recreate their joined performance.

Won @ 11/4

3.35 – #2   Camps Bay Camps Bay
Good form in recent grade 4 runs, now dropped to grade 6 and will have a edge over others. Able on trip distance and knows the field, top speed figures suggest he’ll outrun his opponents. Hayley Turner on board trusted to get the job done.

Finished 2nd @ 11/4

Southwell

1.00 – #5 The Lock Master Silks The Lock Master
Placed 2nd to Dubai Hills in his last here at Southwell, now lining up to the challenge again, only this time Dubai high on weights while the Master remains on the same weights as last run. All last three starts showing improvements in current grade and with the low draw at his side  should land in frame. Neil Chalmers on board, same jockey for the 4 year old last two placings, and will probably treat the gelding in the appropriate way to get him 1st  in the finish line.

Finished 2nd @ 10/1

2.05 – #4 River Dragon River Dragon
Decent form in his last 6 bumper starts including his last here two weeks ago when placing 2nd over 2 miles at grade 4. Drawn lowest which suits his style, weights much less than he’s used to carry so advantage here for this 6 year old. Wearing cheekpieces for the first time, a move by connections which suggests a different approach for this run, should be worth taking into account here.

Finished 4th

2.35 – #4 April Fool April Fool
Course and distance under his wing, a veteran runner with most of his successful runs conducted at grade 6 where never landing lower than 3rd. Same grade here and will probably recreate his magnificent runs under this particular class, handles any draw and will probably take on the current. Weights significantly lowered to 8-13 where usually carrying around 9-5 to 9-10, having much success under such weights and now will take on the margin to land in frame.

Finished 3rd @ 5/2

3.40 – #2   Itsthursdayalready Itsthursdayalready
Great 2nd here last time, one out of the trio of placing in his last starts. No significant change in weights and draw is low which is a favorable position for him. Never won a race before so kinda tacky pick, however connections and jockey will probably give their very best efforts to make this run a first.

Finished 3rd @ 4/1
